Air Fryer Breaded Chicken Wings Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 10-12 chicken wings (drumettes or flats, or a mix of both)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko works best for extra crunch)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for added flavor)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for spraying or brushing)
  • Optional: hot sauce, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce

Instructions:

1. Prep the Chicken Wings:

  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps them become crispier when air fried.
  • If the wings are whole, cut them into flats and drumettes, removing the tips if desired.

2. Prepare the Breading:

  • In one shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • In a second shallow bowl, beat the egg.
